For staff
If you work for a business that uses Ask Gregory, this page is for you: signing in, what you can see, and who to ask.
Signing in the first time
The owner adds you, and you get an email called Welcome to, followed by your business's app name.
- Open the email, and choose Set password.
- Choose a password. You're ready to go.
- After that, sign in at your app's address with your email and password.
If the link has run out, or the email never came, ask the owner to send it again.
Your password
- Forgot it? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page, and you'll get an email to choose a new one.
- Want to change it? Open the menu under your name at the top of the page, and choose Change password.
- Sharing a device? Sign out is in that same menu.
What you can see
You see what your role needs. The owner decides this, and it's different for each business and each kind of staff.
- You may see everything except money, or only your own records, such as your own appointments.
- Some details may be kept to certain people.
- The words in your app are your business's own, so yours may say "clients" or "members" where this page says "customers".
If you can't see something you need, nothing's broken. Ask the owner.
At the front desk
If your business uses a tablet for forms, it stays signed in, and it only shows your forms.
- Choose which forms, and who they're for.
- Hand the tablet to the customer. Nothing is saved until they press Submit.
- When they hand it back, use your Staff PIN to get back to the forms.
The owner sets the tablet's password and the PIN.
Charging for a visit
If the owner allows it, you'll see Charge… on the visits you can see. Check who pays, add anything else from the price lists, and choose Charge.
Prices come from the owner's price lists. If you need a different price, or a charge changed once it's made, ask the owner.
Your morning run-down
The owner may have set this up. Each morning you get an email listing your bookings for the day, and no email if you have none. It comes from Grace, an AI helper in your app.
Who to ask
Ask the owner first. That goes for questions, something that looks wrong, or an idea for changing the app. Only owners can open Gregory, the AI that builds and changes your app, so they'll ask him for you.
