Your helpers
AI helpers (some call them agents) that do the everyday chores in your app, so you don't have to.
What a helper is
A helper is an AI with a name and a role, like a member of staff. Judy runs your front desk; Grace is your office manager; Carlos designs your website; Iris does your research. Each one works only on the jobs you've given them.
Their roles grow: we keep adding jobs, and more of the tools businesses use, so a helper you have today learns new work without you hiring a new one.
Inside and outside
Your helpers work inside your app, with your records and the tools you've connected for their role. They can send things out, but they never read anything outside your app. Only Iris does.
Pages on the internet can hide instructions meant for an AI, so this is built in, and no setting changes it. Iris can only read and hand over. The helper who gets it is told to treat it as information, not instructions, and still follows its own limits and asks you first where it should.
You're in charge
- You decide when she stops asking. While a helper is new, she shows you each email before it goes. The one exception is Judy's website chat, because a visitor won't wait. You can stop the checking when you're ready, one job at a time, and you're told plainly what you'd stop checking first. Changed your mind? Switch Ask me first back on any time. Each helper below says how this works for them.
- Pause any time. One switch pauses a helper, or just one of her jobs.
- A monthly AI allowance. Your plan includes $75 of AI for your helpers each month, and Gregory shows you what's left. Need more? Add more, and what you add rolls over for as long as you have your plan. Each helper also has a daily limit, so an unusual day can't run up costs.
- Nothing stops your app. If the AI allowance runs out, only the helpers' AI pauses: your app keeps working, and Judy hands new emails to you.
- You see everything. Everything a helper does shows in Activity.

Judy
Front deskJudy comes with every app. She runs your front desk: your customers' email and forms, each job with its own switch. Her jobs today:
- Answer customer email sent to your app, from what she knows. She hands you anything she isn't sure of, and can send forms or set up a request for you to approve.
- Welcome and goodbye emails when someone joins or leaves. She asks you before each goodbye.
- Answer questions on your website: a chat box on the website Carlos makes. She brings you what she doesn't know. How the chat works.
- Forms: sends them before a visit, chases unfinished ones, says when one is due for renewal, sends a copy, and tells you when one is done.
You approve each email's wording once. After that, no AI and no extra cost. Answering email and website questions uses AI.
You can stop checking her emails any time, one job at a time. The website chat doesn't ask first, and you can switch it off any time.

Grace
Office managerGrace comes with every app. She keeps your office tools in step with your app. Today she works with Google Calendar and Google Sheets, using only the calendar or sheet you share with your app. Her jobs today:
- Keep your Google Calendar up to date: each booking goes on, moves when it changes, and comes off when it's cancelled.
- Today's run-down: each morning, the day's bookings by email, to you or to each staff member.
- Keep a sheet up to date: a row for each record, kept current, with the columns you choose.
Her ready-made jobs use no AI, at no extra cost. Changes made in Google aren't copied back into your app. More office tools are on the way.
Her calendar and sheet jobs don't ask first. Her run-down goes by itself once you've approved the wording, unless you switch on Ask me first.

Carlos
Web designerCarlos is in every app, and starts only when you ask him. He makes your business's website from what your app already knows and a few quick questions: what goes first, your pages, how it sounds, and your colours. His jobs today:
- Make your website: a real draft you look at on a phone and a computer before anything goes live.
- Keep it right by itself: your prices, hours and services come straight from your app, so the site changes when they do.
- Change it when you ask, in your own words. Or click a word or a photo and change it yourself, free.
- Keep it current: each week he looks for what's new in your app and suggests updates, for you to approve.
He always asks. Nothing goes live until you say so, and earlier versions can be put back. Your website can be at your own domain, with your app at app.yourdomain. Making and changing your site uses AI; fixing a word or a photo doesn't.
-
Iris
ResearcherIris comes with every app. She's the one helper who reads outside it: web pages, web searches and connected services, reading only. Her jobs:
- Keep an eye on things: tell Gregory what to watch. Every Monday Iris reads your supplier's price list, and your own helper updates your prices.
- Look things up on the spot when a helper of your own asks her.
- Read for Grace and Carlos: today's calendar for the run-down, and stock photos for your website.
She never sends anything, changes anything outside your app, or reads or changes your records, so there's nothing to approve. Everything she watches and reads is on her page. Her reading uses AI; the calendar and photos don't.

A helper of your own
Got a chore that isn't covered? Describe it to Gregory in your own words, and he builds a helper for it. Your helper can:
- work on a schedule: every morning, every Monday, on the 1st of the month;
- start when something happens in your app: a new customer, a changed booking, a cancelled order;
- use your records: who owes what, whose appointment is tomorrow, what's overdue;
- write and send emails: asking you first while she's new, then offering to send without asking once enough of her emails have gone out without changes;
- follow up until it's done: and hand it to you when it needs a person;
- send to the tools you've connected;
- use AI where it helps: writing a friendly message, sorting enquiries, summarising notes.
Your helper never reads outside your app. When it needs something from outside, Iris reads it, on a schedule or on the spot. You set that up by telling Gregory.
Like the rest of your app, she's tested and checked before she starts.
Not yet
Of your email, helpers read only what's sent to your app's own address, never your personal inbox. They send email; text messages are coming soon. And they keep your other tools up to date one way: changes you make in Google or QuickBooks aren't copied back into your app.
